Remote Access

No IT. No Firewall Changes.
No Subscription.

SMX-RNS20 ships pre-configured in your machine cabinet. Your customer plugs in one ethernet cable. Your engineer opens SX-Client, selects the device, and is connected — in under a minute. No ports to open, no VPN server to manage, no IT approval to chase. The P2P DTLS tunnel goes outbound over TCP 443, which every corporate firewall already allows.

  • P2P encrypted tunnel — machine data never passes through Simplinx servers
  • Works over Ethernet, USB Wi-Fi adapter, or phone tethering
  • Multi-user access — each engineer gets their own certificate, revocable individually
  • Master account controls active user count, access rights, and full connection logs
  • One-time device purchase — no annual licence, no cloud fee
Protocol P2P DTLS — encrypted end-to-end
Firewall Outbound TCP 443 only
Setup time Under 1 minute
Cost model One-time hardware purchase

PLC Data — Without a Separate Gateway

SX-IO runs directly on the SMX-RNS20 — no additional hardware required. Connect to the machine's PLC, HMI, or drives and start collecting process variables via 7 protocol drivers simultaneously. Data is stored locally in an onboard historian and evaluated for alarm conditions in real time.

  • 7 protocol drivers — Modbus, OPC-UA, S7, OMRON FINS, Serial and more
  • On-device alarm evaluation — email and SMS alerts without cloud round-trip
  • 2 GB local storage — historian data survives connectivity loss
  • No separate data gateway or edge PC required

Push Machine Data to Any Cloud — No Middleware

SX-IO sends collected data directly to AWS IoT, Microsoft Azure IoT Hub, Google Cloud, or any MQTT broker — on your schedule, without an on-premise server or integration middleware. You can also push directly into SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL) for your own dashboards and analytics.

  • Native connectors: AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub, Google Cloud, MQTT
  • Direct SQL push: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL Server
  • Configurable push interval — from seconds to hours
  • Buffered locally during connectivity loss, flushed on reconnect

Bridge Mode

Your Machine Talks Only to Who You Allow

In Bridge Mode, SMX-RNS20 places your machine in its own isolated segment. The factory office network cannot initiate connections to the machine. Only explicitly permitted devices can reach specific ports — for example, the SCADA server on port 80, or a historian on Modbus port 502. All other traffic is blocked by default.

  • Machine cannot reach the office network — zero lateral exposure
  • Port-level rules: only permitted source IP → permitted port is allowed
  • Works without modifying PLC or HMI configuration
  • Compatible with GTW10 for additional OT/IT boundary enforcement
EU Machinery Regulation

CE File Ready — Out of the Box

EU Machinery Regulation 2023/1230 requires cybersecurity documentation for remote access components in CE-marked machines. SMX-RNS20 ships with a complete documentation package — ready to drop into your machine's technical file without additional assessment work.

  • Declaration of Conformity — signed and current
  • Cybersecurity Statement — architecture, encryption, key management
  • Risk Assessment — remote access threat model for your CE file
  • Available in English, German, and Turkish

IEC 62443 — Cybersecurity Standard

Industrial Cybersecurity Certification — In Progress

IEC 62443 is the international standard for industrial cybersecurity. Machine builders are increasingly required to demonstrate compliance by Tier 1 manufacturers, system integrators, and procurement teams.

SMX-RNS20 is on a structured path to IEC 62443 compliance. Secure development lifecycle (4-1) and independent product assessment (4-2) are underway — targeted for 2026.
